HURLEY -- The Hurley School District has implemented a new mass communication software called Leader Alert. The software allows the school to communicate with all district parents and guardians with phone messages within seconds.
Parents can be notified of emergencies, school closings, meetings, delays and other announcements with the system.
It can also be used to set up separate groups for notification. Committees, athletic teams, parent groups and other groups can be notified individually of announcements immediately.
The school district wants to ensure its has correct phone numbers for each family. Home and cell phones can be used.
For more information about the Leader Alert system, call Chris Patritto, district administrator, at 715-561-4900, ext. 202, or e-mail patritto@hurley.k12.wi.us.
