HURLEY -- Leslie Ann Bradley, 40, of Hurley and James E. Thomas, 37, of Racine, Wis., were bound over to circuit court Monday in connection with the Oct. 12 stabbing of Chad Mathias Andert, 27, of Ironwood.
Cash bonds of $100,000 each were continued, with Bradley and Thomas remaining in the Iron County Jail, according to district attorney Marty Lipske.
Each face felony counts of being a party to the crimes of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, aggravated battery, and first-degree reckless endangerment.
No arraignment date has been set.
Hurley police responded to a fight at the intersection of Silver Street and Third Avenue at 11:01 p.m. on Oct. 12.
Andert was transported to the emergency room at Grand View Hospital where a chest x-ray showed a collapsed lung from a stab wound, according to the criminal complaint. He was then airlifted to the trauma unit at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minn.
Andert has since been released from the hospital, Lipske said.
According to the criminal complaint, HPD officer Steve Glatczak was told by a number of people at the site that Bradley had allegedly stabbed Andert.
Thomas and Andert had a verbal argument before a fight started. Thomas alleged Andert came after Bradley and Thomas with a knife. Thomas said Bradley then took the knife sway from Andert.
