HURLEY -- A 31-year-old Hurley man was sentenced last week in Iron County Circuit Court to 30 months in prison, followed by two and one-half years of extended supervision, on an Aug. 13, 2007, conviction for delivery of a schedule II controlled substance.
Joel Wesley Graser Jr. was given credit for 11 months served, according to Iron County District Attorney Marty Lipske.
Upon conviction, a bail jumping felony and misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed, but read into the record.
Graser was assessed $550 in fees and court costs.
The conviction stems from a July 13, 2007, controlled buy of morphine sulfate pills by a confidential informant.
