Cunico/Air Force

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Air Force Airman Joshua J. Cunico has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

From completing basic training, Cunico earned credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of David Cunico and Maryanne Vittone, both of Hurley, Wis.

Cunico is a 2001 graduate of Hurley High School.

Krenzalek/U.S. Marines

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Private Joshua Krenzalek, 21, Coldwater, Mich., and originally from Ironwood, Mich., graduated from U.S. Marine basic training on July 18, 2008, in San Diego.

After combat training he will be stationed in Pensacola, Fla., to begin studying aviation electronics.

He is the son of Ryan and Bonnie Krenzalek, and brother of Cassandra Krenzalek, all of Coldwater; and the grandson of Edward Krenzalek and Richard and Kathleen Hewitt, all of Ironwood, and Linda and Donald Hoffner, Coldwater.

Bledsoe/Air Force

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Air Force Tech. Sgt. Lisa E. Bledsoe has been selected for promotion to the rank of master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

Bledsoe graduated as a distinguished graduate from the Gaylor Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

She is an intelligence systems integration supervisor assigned to the 548th Intelligence Group at Beale Air Force Base, Calif.

Bledsoe, the daughter of Wanda L. McKay of E. River St., and granddaughter of Bill and Jean Giesau of Alsace Ave., all of Ontonagon, Mich., has served in the military for 10 years.

She graduated in 1997 from Ontonagon Area Junior-Senior High School, and received an associate of applied science degree in 2003 from the Community College of the Air Force, headquartered at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
