VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Joe and Pam Grenda, of Virginia Beach and formerly of Ironwood, Mich., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Grenda, Virginia Beach, to Cla Meredith of Richmond.
The future bride is a 2004 graduate of Kellam High School, Virginia Beach, and is attending Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, pursuing a degree in business.
The groom-elect is the son of Olise and Janice Meredith of Richmond. He is a 2001 graduate of Meadowbrook High School in Richmond and is attending Virginia Commonwealth University. During his junior year of college he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox Major League baseball team. He is now a pitcher for the San Diego Padres baseball team.
A Nov. 22, 2008, wedding in Maymont Park in Richmond is set.
