WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Cody James Ringsmuth, 18, of Wakefield, entered eternal life on Sunday, April 21, 2013.
He was born on June 11, 1994, at Grand View Hospital in Ironwood.
Cody was a very loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin.
He enjoyed working on automotives and had a special talent for repairing any electronics.
His hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, snowboarding and motocross.
Cody is survived by his parents, Jack Ringsmuth and Mercedes Ellsworth Woody; three sisters, Stacey (Blake) Akerley, Jacqueline Ringsmuth and Michaela Sutherland; a brother, Caleb Tauer; two nieces, Meta Jo Akerley and Audrianna Mae Ringsmuth; a nephew, Gunner Jack Akerley; his girlfriend, Veronica Pulaski; many other loving relatives; and numerous friends.
Cody’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 26, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield, with the Rev. Ben Hasse, celebrant.
A luncheon will follow at St. Sebastian School in Bessemer.
Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
Cody will be greatly missed and we know that he is in a better place, “Heaven.”
