Ironwood Car Fire

IRONWOOD PUBLIC Safety Director Andrew DiGiorgio aims a water hose at the engine compartment of a car that caught fire around 4 p.m., Tuesday in a parking lot at the intersection of Midland Avenue and Lowell Street, across from Zion Lutheran Church, in Ironwood. While it is too early to tell the cause of the fire, IPSD officials said it started in the car's passenger compartment.
