    IRONWOOD - Area residents may have noticed an ice rink being assembled at Depot Park in downtown Ironwood. Beginning Tuesday, the Borth brothers, Levi, 14; Josh, 19, and Nathan, 29, put on their working gloves and started assembling an ice rink.     IRONWOOD - In honor of the local veterans, the American Legion Post No. 5 hosted a Veteran's Day program Saturday evening at the Ironwood Memorial Building.     WAKEFIELD - With a tear in her eye, Margot Anderson resigned as city manager of Wakefield Friday afternoon. Around 30 people showed up at the municipal building for the special meeting concerning a personnel matter.     IRONWOOD — Motorists on Cloverland Drive might have noticed construction is nearly done in the second year of a total rebuild of U.S. 2 through the city. In April, plans were outlined for the last mile of the construction project, spanning Curry Street to Roosevelt Street, widening the old 11-foot lanes by a foot. Beginning in May, construction crews upgraded utilities, sidewalks and assembled a center left-turn lane at the Lake Street signal.
