WATERSMEET, Mich. - Father Aloysius J. Hasenberg, 92, of Watersmeet, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016. Father Hasenberg was born July 20, 1922, in Ewen, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Bouvier) Hasenberg. He was educated in the Ewen Public Schools and following graduation he studied for the priesthood at St. Lawrence Seminary, Mt. Calvary, Wis., from 1941 to 1944.
