    WAKEFIELD, Mich. – Eugene Edwin "Haka" Willing, 87, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 6, 2019, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. Haka was born on May 10, 1931, in Wakefield, a son of Matt and Helmi (Keto) Willing. Cathryn Leigh Huotari, 48, is charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft of less than $2,500 — a crime with a potential maximum sentence of nine months in jail or a fine of up to $10,000.
