    L’ANSE, Mich. — Donald G. Budd Sr., of Kenton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Bayside Village in L’Anse. He was born June 16, 1929, in Kenton, to the late Franklin and Florence (Trembley) Budd. On Sept. 28, 1956, Donald was united in marriage to Gladys Marie Bonin. Donald worked as a self-employed logger until his retirement. During his younger years, he enjoyed track while in high school. Later in life he loved hunting, fishing and trapping.     IRONWOOD — The Ironwood Public Safety Department will hold a community awareness program at Luther L. Wright from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a department announcement. The program, held in room 232, is designed to inform parents, teachers and citizens about current drug and alcohol trends in schools, according to a department spokesman.
