Wolverine Ski Trail will be taken over by snowshoers Saturday for the annual YooperBeiner Race/Tour. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Daniel C. Beissel, 72, of Corpus Christi, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015. He was formerly a resident of Ramsay, Mich., son of Leonard and Marcella Beissel. He served as a U.S. Navy missile technician aboard nuclear submarines during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Scotland, where he met his wife, Alice.
