IRONWOOD - Storm Seneca packed a wallop on the Gogebic Range that was still being felt Friday evening, as blowing and drifting snow continued to make driving hazardous. The Gogebic Range was hit with from a foot to 15 inches of snow on Thursday night into Friday evening, closing schools and businesses. KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia - Resi Stiegler's string of crash-free runs ended Friday, a frustrating conclusion to the Sochi Olympics for an athlete who returned to the Games after multiple wreck-induced injuries. Stiegler, of Jackson Hole, Wyo., was 20th after the first of two runs at the Rosa Khotor course, but her second run ended in the second of three sections on the course. MASS CITY - St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Mass City is working year-round to reach out to the world and better local communities. DULUTH, Minn. - Louise W. Moselle, 92, of Duluth, formerly of Ironwood, Mich., passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014. She was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Wakefield, Mich., to John Oscar and Wilhelmina Nordlund. On Sept. 13, 1941, Louise married Leno Moselle in Bessemer, Mich. "Dick/Grumpy" Cottier, 86, of Ironwood, retired co-owner and operator of Angelo's Pizza in Ironwood, died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood.
