    IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP – The Aspirus Grand View hospital held its second annual YooperBeiner Snowshoe Race and Tour Saturday morning at the Wolverine Nordic trails. This year's race was the first sanctioned by the United States Ski and Snowboard Association. It is also part of the Braveheart Snowshoe Race Series. A kids race plus a 5K and 10K race were held.     IRONWOOD – The 14th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids was held at Larry's Lucky Strikes Saturday afternoon. The event included 3 sessions of bowling. About 100 bowlers and children attended the event. "There are some new teams," said match support coordinator Kristy Recla, "and lots of returning bowlers."     IRONWOOD - 23 young thespians lit up the stage this weekend at the Historic Ironwood Theatre's production of "Rumbo," directed by Mary Hansen and Gene Goss, a collaborative effort between the theatre and the Carnegie Library. The actors were supported by a seven member backstage team.     MARQUETTE, Mich. - Robert F. Bielawski, 74, recently of Marquette and a former longtime Ironwood resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette. Bob was born Jan. 1, 1940, in Montreal, Wis., son of the late Frank and Doris (Berg) Bielawski, and graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley, Wis., in 1958.     MILWAUKEE (AP) - Students at Marquette University have received NASA permission to send a tiny satellite into space that will photograph the Earth for about three months. The satellite will be part of a NASA program that encourages research in engineering and technology. The space agency allows a handful of institutions each year to produce cube-shaped satellites, or CubeSats, that it launches into low orbits.
