WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield-Marenisco Board of Education voted Monday to increase its Great Start Readiness Program from half-day sessions to full days, starting March 1. Superintendent Jason Gustafson reported the news in a Tuesday press release. The action on the state-funded preschool program followed an increase of $5 million in GSRP funds in Michigan’s current fiscal year budget. Kramarsic, 40, of Granville, Illinois, was killed in a snowmobile crash in Iron County Sunday night. Iron County Emergency Dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 12:53 a.m., according to Iron County Sheriff Paul Samardich, reporting the crash on Trail 10 in the town of Mercer. COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jeanette (Boyer) Legg passed away on Jan. 11, 2020, after a short illness in Columbus, Ohio. She was born Aug. 30, 1920, in Ironwood, Michigan to Wilbrod and Alice Boyer.
