    By TOM STANKARD [email protected] As warm temperatures continue, melting snow is causing an early end to the season for skiers and snowboarders. The forecast calls for continued warm weather. Near Bessemer, Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort declared it will close Saturday for the season. Bruce Noren, general manager, said the earliest the mountain closed was in February, 1999. Rick Snyder’s 2017 fiscal year budget that would transfer Medicaid and Healthy Michigan funding for specialty mental health services to private entities.     WOODRUFF, Wis. - Lillian J. Rayala, 97, formerly of Manitowish Waters, died March 8 at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff. Lillian was born in South Carey on May 10, 1918, to Andrew and Wilhemina Nissila, both emigrants of Finland. She, along with her parents and seven siblings, were early pioneers of Manitowish Waters, arriving in the year 1928.
