IRONWOOD, Mich. — Bernadette “Sue” Mattson, 69, of Ironwood, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on June 27, 1948. in Ironwood to the late Frank and Faye Briskie. Sue graduated from J.E. Murphy High School and spent much of her life working at Erspamer’s Super Market and Super One in Ironwood. On June 29, 1968, she married Richard “Dick” Mattson at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hurley, Wis. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2006.
