IRONWOOD - The Downtown Art Place invites people to celebrate the Upper Peninsula at its photography exhibition. The exhibition opens on April 20. A reception and award ceremony, open to the public, is scheduled for April 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. Some of the photographers will be present and available to meet with the public. On Wednesday, the ice blew out of Saxon Harbor, ending a bang-up winter of ice fishing on the lake.
