WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - Sylvia Marie (Palomaki) Aho, 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in Willimantic. She was born on Jan. 30, 1921, to the late Mary (Sjoman) Palomaki and John Palomaki in Ramsay, Mich. Her father was a hard rock miner from Finland and her mother was the daughter of Finnish immigrants.
