Accordingly, council members voted to approve a related agreement with MSA Professional Services for an estimated fee of $240,000. During a Monday evening meeting, City Council members confirmed the new board’s membership, which includes seven members, as well as an alternate and an ex-officio member. IRONWOOD, Mich. - George Howard Plaistow of Ironwood went to eternal life on Dec. 3, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. George was born Dec. 12, 1947, to Howard and Ruth Plaistow of Ironwood. George attended the Ironwood schools and went into the service and served in Vietnam. He became a member of the Ironwood American Legion and later served as commander following in his father's footsteps.
