  • Wakefield to fund Beacon through December

The unanimous vote was contingent upon all other Gogebic County cities, townships or communities also funding the service as part of a county cost-sharing resolution. The removal of the three structures will be in addition to five demolition bids that were previously approved by the city commission, City Manager Scott Erickson said.
