Rick filed a motion in Iron County Circuit Court Wednesday to withdraw Rick’s guilty plea in the case of Lisa Waldros’ murder in the March 12, 2016 fire that destroyed the Bear Trap Inn in Saxon. Rick, 45, pleaded guilty to first degree murder December 8, while five additional counts against him were expected to be dismissed but read into the record at his April 13 sentencing. The program is designed to reward reading with the opportunity to win a bicycle for kids aged 6-14 by July 30. They must be residents of Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Keweenaw or Ontonagon counties.     The National Weather Service continued a flash flood watch through this morning for northern Wisconsin, where some locations had already received from 3 to 7 inches of rain over a 48-hour period. The flood watch pertains to Iron County, Wis., and the Ironwood area. The weather service office in Duluth expanded the watch area on Wednesday to include Bayfield County.
