    IRONWOOD — Mary Elizabeth Brunelle, 100, of Ironwood, passed away June 7, Mary was a lifetime resident of Ironwood, and she graduated from Luther L. Wright School in 1938. Afterwards, she attended Gogebic Community College. She was a part of the Holy Trinity Altar Society CCD and was the President of Marquette Diocese Council of Catholic Women. She was an avid bowler in the Range Area Bowling league in Hurley, Wis. and was a member of The Eagle Bluff Golf Club. Mary was very fond of sewing, crocheting, and knitting. According to city manager Rob Brown, the city in past years has paid the hosts $1 for each reservation generated. As of Monday's vote, that rate now will be $2 per reservation.
