The fiber knitting groups came together from Woodruff, Presque Isle, and of course Wakefield. Nanette Paquette owns seven alpacas, becoming an alpaca owner in 2009. WAKEFIELD, Mich. — A celebration of life remembering Norma Salo, a long-time resident of Wakefield, who died on Feb. 22, 2017, will be held Friday, June 16, at 2:30 p.m. CDT, preceded by memorial visitation at 1:30 p.m. CDT, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9084, 107 W.
