    BESSEMER - An inmate escaped the Gogebic County Jail Monday night. Daniel Ferguson, 26, escaped sometime after 8:45 p.m., according to a Gogebic County Sheriff's Department Facebook post at approximately 9:33 p.m. Ferguson was last seen heading northwest on Moore Street, according to the department, wearing black and white jail striped pants and jail orange shirt but no shoes.     OSSEO, Wis. - Roger Ardell Myren, 84, of Osseo, formerly of Hurley, Somerset and Janesville, died in his sleep at home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Roger was born June 3, 1933, in Whitehall, to Aldor and Minnie (Herman) Myren and raised on the family farm. After serving a four-year stint in the U.S. Air Force, he returned home and married his sweetheart and lifelong love, Mavis Olson, on Oct. 5, 1957, at South Beef River Lutheran Church in rural Osseo. Meeting in a special session, resolutions and contracts for the summer’s infrastructure project were approved.
