    By RALPH ANSAMI [email protected] HURLEY - A Saxon, Wis., woman who aided her then boyfriend in attempting to hide evidence in the 2016 murder-arson at the Bear Trap Inn entered a no contest plea Tuesday in Iron County Court. Jessica M. Carli, 42, will be sentenced on Aug. 23 for aiding a felon by hiding evidence.     HURLEY, Wis. - Rose Kauppi, 99, died peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2017, at the Villa Maria in Hurley. She was preceded in death by her husband. Rose is survived by her children, Rose Marie, Michael, Dan and Kristine; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place.
