WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Delores Elsie Salli, 84, a long-time resident of Wakefield, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, June 27, 2017. Delores was born on Nov. 8, 1932, in Wakefield, a daughter of Waino and Jennie Marie (Johnson) Hill. She attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1951. He was born on Jan. 10, 1930, the only child of William Justusson and Lyydia (Ruuhinen of Finland) Justusson. The Fourth of July is a time for communities across the area to gather and celebrate. Many communities have planned parades, games in the park and fireworks.
