    IRONWOOD - Opened to the public for a week, the Ironwood end of the non-motorized trail has been receiving positive feedback. On Wednesday, the Montreal River bridge was christened by Ironwood and Hurley officials, marking a major footstep for the Western Gateway Trail and Gov.     IRONWOOD — The National Weather Service office in Marquette has logged some soggy statistics about June in Ironwood. The 5.4 inches of rain for the month was 150 percent above normal, according to Kevin Crupi, of the Marquette NWS office. It was also a cool month, with the average temperature of 60.2 coming in at 1.1 degrees under the long-term average. The high temperature reached above 80 only three days during the entire month.
