WAKEFIELD - The Wakefield City Council approved a proclamation to name July 3 as "John Siira Day" and rename the renovated pavilion as the "John Siira Pavilion." In the winter the snowshoe trails are beautiful. It is a magical place and I know because I snow shoe in there often, sometimes every day. I make the trails. So does someone else. HURLEY, Wis. - Daryl Dean Huber passed away on July 12, 2014, at Villa Maria Health and Rehab in Hurley, where he was receiving loving care. He was 90 years old. Daryl, born on the family farm in Williamsfield, Ill., on Sept. 20, 1923, lived an active life, filled with adventure.
