Nancy Sturgul, chairperson for the bazaar committee, said the event is the church’s largest fundraiser of the year. WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Craig Elden Honkala, 68, a longtime resident of Wakefield, passed away Saturday morning, July 27, 2019. Craig was born on March 22, 1951, in Bessemer Township, the son of Elden J. and Signe M. (Salear) Honkala. He attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1969.
