    SAXON, Wis. - Six people are safe after the U.S. Coast Guard and local personnel rescued them Tuesday after they became stranded on the shores of Lake Superior in northern Iron County.     By RICHARD JENKINS [email protected] HURLEY — It may be little consolation to the fact Iron County has to borrow close to $1 million, but the loan the Iron County Board of Supervisors approved Tuesday is for less money than what was borrowed last year.     WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Theresa Skoviera, 94, of Ironwood, passed away on July 27, 2019, in Wakefield at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility. She was born to Dominic and Theolinda (Stella) Alessandroni on March 18, 1925, in Ironwood. She went to school at St. Ambrose. She married Michael Paul Skoviera in 1946 and they had seven children.
