Ironwood’s Return to School plan — which has to be submitted to the state by Aug. 15 — lays out the broad strokes of the district’s plans for teaching amidst the coronavirus pandemic this fall, with the biggest change from the district’s previous updates being that the older students will have a blended schedule of both in-person and remote learning... Full story

    EUSTIS, Fla. - Frank John Talo, 73, of Tavares, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Eustis. Frank was born June 18, 1947, in Bessemer Township, Michigan. He was the son of Frank V. Talo and Selda (Bonka) Talo, the youngest of three children. He graduated Luther L. Wright High School, of Ironwood, Michigan, in 1965. Frank was a proud patriot to the United States and served in the Air Force in Vietnam as an airplane mechanic. He moved his family to Leesburg, Florida, in 1978....
