    EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — Francis Joseph “Joe” Gorshe, Jr., age 70, a resident of Eagle River, Wis., passed away on August 17, 2017. Joe was born in Phelps, Wis. on May 10, 1947 to Francis Gorshe, Sr. and Dorothy (NEE Sorlie) Gorshe. He graduated from Watersmeet High School and Joined the Navy. Joe moved to Wausau, Wis. and worked at Land O Lakes Candy. He owned and operated Third Avenue Bait Shop and retired from the Post Office.
