Oneida County stood at 2.9 percent for July, compared to 3.4 percent in June, and it improved from 40th to 26th in the state. PARK FALLS, Wis. - Sharon Lee (Nyman) Schmidt, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. Sharon was born on April 19, 1943, in Muskegon, Michigan, and lived her early life in Bessemer, Mich., where she graduated from A.D. Johnston High School.
