WHITE PINE — Highland Copper Company and Kinterra Capital Corp. officials visited the site of a planned White Pine North mining project on Aug. 17. WAUSAU, Wis. - Wanda Sue Holmes passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2023, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, from a brave battle from ALS. Wanda was born in Woodruff on April 19, 1962, to the late Vanard and Judith Babic. Wanda lived her childhood years in Mercer, and was a homemaker for many years raising her children.
