    WAKEFIELD — Wakefield resident Scott Favero received permission from the Wakefield City Council Monday evening to clean up an eye-sore on city property. Favero plans to remove some old storage tanks and a few hundred tires from a spot along a an old railroad grade that is now a trail. The spot is about 500 feet east of Sunday Lake Street, south of Nunnemacher Street.     HURLEY — The Iron County Comprehensive Planning/Land and Zoning Committee approved a motion to changes and additions of sections to the zoning ordinance, in relation to both ferrous and nonferrous mining after a public hearing, Monday, in Hurley.     IRONWOOD, Mich. — Gerhard William Olson, 95, a lifelong resident of Olson Road in Ironwood Township, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, after living in the loving care of his daughter Jean and Dan Borth and their family for 11 years.
