Jack and Jill softball tournament at Gile Field. IRONWOOD, Mich. — Michael Wayne Wesa, 63, of Ironwood, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, at home in Ironwood. Michael was born April 20, 1958, in Milwaukee to George R. Wesa and Verna L. Gormley. He graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood in 1976, and served in the U.S. Army from August 1977 to September 1980. HURLEY, Wis. — Frederic D. “Fred” Kellerman, 79, of Hurley, passed away on Aug. 24, 2021, at his home in Hurley. He was born in Milwaukee on March 28, 1942, son of Elmer and Alma (Gerlach) Kellerman. He attended Hurley schools and graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in 1961. He was very fond of running track, playing football as well as playing in the high school band.
