WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Dorie L. Olson, 98, of Wakefield, died Sept. 1, 2016, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood. She was born Oct. 23, 1917, in Wakefield, daughter of the late James and Marian (Ozzello) Negro, and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1935. After graduation, she worked at the Wakefield Co-op in Jim Town for three years. In 1938, she married Edward W. BESSEMER - Bessemer Area Schools Superintendent David Radovich has released preliminary floor plans for the proposed A.D. Johnston High School expansion project that calls for closing Washington Elementary School and moving all students into one building. There are roughly 400 students attending the school district. SUPERIOR, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Natural issued a permit for wetland and waterway crossings required for Enbridge to replace a 14-mile segment of pipeline, called Line 3, in Douglas County. Line 3 extends from Alberta, Canada, through North Dakota and Minnesota to Superior. The project in Wisconsin involves replacing the 1960s vintage 34-inch pipe with a new 36-inch diameter pipeline that could carry up to 760,000 barrels per day.
