IRONWOOD, Mich. - Lifelong Ironwood resident Paul "Bunyan" Grbavcich, 59, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 30, 2019, from ocular melanoma. Paul was born on Jan. 17, 1960, in Ironwood, a son of August "Bozo" and Bernice (Koleski) Grbavcich. He attended Luther L. Wright High School and graduated in 1978. Perfect weather and a reputation for “home-grown, special floats” added to the enthusiasm of the crowd.
