The action is part of an ongoing initiative to prepare the park pond for fishing by local youth, as promoted by Commissioner Russ Maki in previous meetings. SAXON, Wis. - Robert E. "Butch" Rowe, 83, of Saxon, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 7, 2023. Robert was born on June 24, 1940, at home in Gurney, Wisconsin. The son of the late Lester and Lucille (Lee) Rowe, he was one of seven kids. Robert graduated from Saxon High School in 1958, and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1958 to 1963.
