Detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team made nine arrests in three drug cases in the Escanaba and Ishpeming areas earlier this week. Maurice Shaunetz Gray, of South Bend, Ind., and Jennifer Savanguaongsavanh, of Milwaukee, were arrested by UPSET detectives on Monday after they were spotted at an Ishpeming hotel. IRON RIVER, Wis. - The storms stayed away as the Hurley girls and Ironwood boys took second at the first Indianhead Conference cross country meet of the season at Northern Pines Golf Course Thursday.
