IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP — Seventeen volunteers collected over 36 pounds of garbage along the shoreline at Little Girl’s Point on Saturday morning, part of the Adopt a Beach efforts sustained on shorelines of the Great Lakes by the Alliance of the Great Lakes. IRONWOOD, Mich. — Wayne L. Beidatsch, 58, of Lake Road, Ironwood Township, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood. He was born April 2, 1955, in Milwaukee, son of the late Albert and Doris (Robinson) Beidatsch, and graduated from Oak Creek High School in Oak Creek, Wis., in 1973. He moved to Ironwood in 1976 and was a self-employed carpet installer in the area up until the time of his death. His interests included playing the guitar, hunting and fishing.
