IRONWOOD, Mich. - Everest "Ev" Smee, 88, passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2020, in Ironwood. Ev was born in Pence, Wisconsin, where he lived most of his life, on Aug. 24, 1932, son of the late of Peter and Madeline (Bracket) Smee. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine; five children, Ed Jr., Cindy (Brian), Dave, Lauri (Bob) and Patty (Cory); eight grandchildren, Alysha, Kailey, Abbey, Trevor, Darienne, Mariah, Ethan and Connor; and one great-grandson, Carter.
