BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. - Roy E. Nurmi passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sept. 1, 2022, he was 74. He was born on the family farm in Bruce Crossing on June 8, 1948, to Emil and Mayme Nurmi, the third of five children.
