Aurora St. on tax sale was accepted. DiGiorgio said the city’s bid wasn’t the winning bid at first, but the top bidder had withdrawn their bid, making way for the city’s second-place bid. RIPON, Wis. - Lina Stella Caruso died peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 19, 2022, at Maplecrest Manor Assisted Living in Ripon. She was 99 years old. BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. - Roy E. Nurmi passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sept. 1, 2022, he was 74. He was born on the family farm in Bruce Crossing on June 8, 1948, to Emil and Mayme Nurmi, the third of five children.
