IRONWOOD, Mich. - Donald H. Karvonen, 88, of Ironwood, died peacefully Friday afternoon, Oct. 6, 2017, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital, with his loving wife by his side. He was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Ironwood, son of the late John and Vienna (Niskanen) Karvonen, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1946.
