Jim was born on Nov. 19, 1960, in Wakefield, Mich., to the late Gilbert and Luretta (Tucker) Westeen. He graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer in 1978. Larry was born May 12, 1954, in Ironwood, the son of Richard and Ruth (Palosaari) Zani. In 1972, he graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood; and in 1976, he graduated from Northland College, in Ashland, Wis., with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. On July 7, 1979, he married Patricia A.
