ESCANABA, Mich. - Francis "Mickey" J. Perlich, 81, of Escanaba, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility. He was born on May 30, 1939, in Ironwood, son of Frank and Grace (McDonald) Perlich. Mickey was raised in Bessemer, and graduated high school in 1957. MADISON, Wis. - Gary Makolondra, 57, died Sept. 12, 2020, at U.W. Health University Hospital in Madison. Gary was born May 15, 1963, and grew up in Liberty, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Makolondra; father, Ivan Makolondra; brother, Bernard Makolondra; and an infant sister. LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Jeanette L. Fredrickson, 91, passed away peacefully Oct. 1, 2020, at the Mapleton Care Center in Lakewood, with family at her side. She was born May 2, 1929, in Montreal, Wisconsin, to the late Arvid and Henna Lake. Jeanette resided in Ironwood, Michigan, all of her adult life until moving to Colorado in 2017 to be near family.
