EWEN - Local firefighters responded to a fire at a hay farm in Ewen Thursday evening. The fire was at the old Woracheck homestead on Fair Oaks Road. The farm is owned by a Wisconsin group and provides hay for large dairy farms in Wisconsin. An excavator was used to try to pull some hay from the barn as firefighters were fighting the fire.
