BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. - Kevin James Laubenstein Jr., age 20, passed away Oct. 5, 2021, with his family by his side, due to injuries sustained from a tragic accident on Oct. 2, 2021. Kevin was born Sept. 4, 2001, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Shanon and Kevin Laubenstein Sr. Kevin Jr. enjoyed the outdoors especially mud running in his "Dirtymax" as he called it. MERCER, Wis. - Rockney Bernard Johnson of Mercer passed away on Oct. 13, 2021, at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Johnson, his children Laurie Ringquist, Kris Tetting (Don), Diane Brusoe (Bruce) and Ryan Johnson (Cindy), his stepson Michael Zazeski (Becki) and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Antoinette Johnson and his brother, Dan Johnson. BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. - In the late evening hours of Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, Arlie Higdon, of Bruce Crossing, died at the age of 82. He was born in Nashville, Michigan, to John and Dorothy Higdon, both deceased. At an early age, his ability and skills with engines led him to a life as an exceptional auto mechanic. ROCHESTER, Minn. — Kevin John Lahti, 45, of Ironwood, Michigan, passed away on Oct. 13, 2021, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Memorial Building in Ironwood. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to noon with a service to follow.
