Special Agent Mara Schneider, the media coordinator with the FBI’s Detroit Field Office, declined to comment beyond confirming the bureau’s presence in the area, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. WAUSAU, Wis. - James Stanley Fyfe, 80, died on Oct. 22, 2019, at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. James, best known as "Chugger" to family and friends alike, was born on Dec. 14, 1938 in Ontonagon, Mich., to the late James Herbert Fyfe and Beatrice Ann (Fischer) Fyfe.
